Philosophy

yoyo Inc. began making candles
in Shinshu, Nagano, in 2019.

At the root of our work are the materials and landscapes of the land, the turning of the seasons, and the sensibility that grows from living among them. We look to the beauty found in nature and in everyday life, and draw inspiration from the memories, culture, and human activity that each place holds.

Rousoku Yoyo

/Candle

Rousoku Yoyo is a candle brand founded in Matsumoto, Shinshu, in 2019. Working with paraffin, plant-based waxes, beeswax, Japanese wood wax and more, we shape each piece by hand.

koto

/Fragrance Candle

A fragrance candle brand inspired by Japan's twenty-four solar terms, expressing the turning of the seasons through scent. Every candle is made in our own workshop in Matsumoto, Nagano.

/School

A school of candle making based in Matsumoto, Nagano. We help students understand materials, acquire skills, and build the ability to keep doing what they love as their work.

/Fragrance Oil

Our fragrance business grew out of the challenges we met as candle makers. We select fragrances from a maker's point of view, testing them ourselves in actual production.

Development, planning, and manufacture of original candles; original fragrances for brands and venues; spatial design; and workshops for events and companies. We welcome inquiries from the planning stage.
